Nice art.
Although I wish they would have updated his costume a little like they did to Supes and Batman instead of just giving him a chin piece, add more realism to it, something like Ginat man from the Ultimates is what I always envisioned.

Thats freakin Awesome! Never read a flash comic but might have to start. The DC 52 may be what i needed to get into the DC comics but i don't want to feel like i was missing out by not reading previous stories, we will see...

Im hoping the new Kid flash is Wally, Bart theyre probably just gonna scrap unfortunately.

Although I like Bart, Wally is my favorite and thru DCs eyes if they gotta scrap one they'll probably pick the guy whos only been around for the past 16 years instead of the guy whos been around for the past 45 years. more fans.

There were just too many identical Flashs runing around once they got rid of Wally and Bart's personalties and made them duplicates of Barry. They should have just kept them the way theye were, I love Johns and what hes doing to GL but he totally screwed up the Flash.

The ring idea is ok but I love what they did with Wally when they made that crazy cult guy stab him in the chest with a lightning shaped knife, so he had a lighting shaped scar on his chest.
And when he would get CHANGE into costume his scar would flare up with electricity coming out of it and envelop his body and form his costume around him.

soo freakin cool, too bad it dident last that long.

Amen brothers, the best Flash stories were the first 150 issues of Wally's series. Mark Waid had an amazing run,(pun intended) on the series.

Wally's personality actually matched his poweres, he was a bit immature, irresponsible, non serious bit of a joker kinda guy, goes well with his superspeed (Bart had this but too extreme which made hm his own unique character, Impulse)
As opposed to Barry who's a serious square, prettty boring and does not match well with super speed.

I agree with those that are Pro Wally. He was always more relateable to me than Barry. Don't get me wrong though, I like Barry bunches and he was the Flash I first was exposed to as a youngster. Mark Waid and Mike 'Ringo's run on the Wally era was my fave of all time. Check out the ZERO issue for what in my view is Comic Perfection. As wonderful a writer as Geoff Johns is was it really necessary to push Wally into the supporting role?

Also Wally's costume was just so much better.

White eyes, no feathers on ear pieces, belt shaped like a "V", no wing tips on boots, darker and more chrome like colors.
I know these sound like minor details but it really makes a difference and is a way cooler look.

DCnU KID FLASH is bart, it was revealed a while ago.
Wally, on the other hand, has been indefinitely sidelined with Didio even saying there were no plans for him in the near future.
I'm Wally fan, first and foremost myself, so you can imagine...

I dont remember seeing that anywhere and the description for the Teen Titans book described Kid Flash as just the "hyperactive speedster calling himself Kid Flash" so to me it sounded like they were trying to keep his identity a secret.

If its possible could u show me where I could see this info for myself?
