We've been getting reports from Bleeding Cool on "The DC Band-Aid", their mysterious April 2015 project that previously established we'd see Pre-52 and New 52 characters come face-to-face. Well, it turns out — that's not the case. New clarification has stated that there will be no New 52 characters involved, other than those in DC's current Earth 2 title. Rather, heroes from "different realities" will smack-down, and the site offers "War of the Elseworlds" or "Else Wars" as possible titles. Bleeding Cool's other claims appear to still be correct, including that the event "will see twenty two-part stories published over two months with a weekly series running through it, forty-eight issues in all." But for those looking forward to seeing classic Superman and modern Superman duking it out, prepare to be disappointed. The site expects masterminds Dan Didio and Marie Javins to reveal much more info at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
