After exploring Batman's first year in Gotham City during the "Zero Year", Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will return to the present with "Endgame". According to USA Today, the first issue will pit the Caped Crusader against members of the Justice League, including Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. Why? The reasons aren't clear, but the writer says that the arc will, "that's meant to burn certain things down and then also set new things up. It alters the mythology and status quo of Batman in ways that both will give a lot of resolution to some of the things we've set up in our run, and then also leave you in a place where it'll give a lot of opportunity for me and Greg to tell new kinds of stories with Batman moving forward afterwards — assuming he survives." Scott Snyder seems like a cool guy and all, and I loved Courtof Owls; but his repetitive dialogue completely turned me off to reading Batman. Had to drop it after Zero Year.

I really don't care for the new 52 costume myself, some artists can make it look better than it should, but others show it as ugly as it really is. I don't care if Jim Lee designed it, it needs thrown on the trash bin with the other failures at altering his template. Return to the look of the original suit, except keep the trunks off, and make the fabric look metallic without being armor.

For the most part, I like Supes New 52 suit. Although they can shorten the sleeve a bit so that it doesn't cover a quarter of his hand. And get rid of the lines that make it look like Supes is wearing armour.

Where I'm hoping they go with this story: BATMAN gets ex-communicated from the JL. Make Batman an out-cast/out-law again, some one the Justice League will have to eventually take down.

Not that Batman will be evil or anything, but if the League had an "FBI Most Wanted" list, Bats would rival Darkseid and/or Lex for the #1 spot. Or at least make the Top 10.
