Ears looks a little odd but other than that it looks good

I'm pretty sure he's trying to get the feel of Batman's cowl from the original Detective #27 with the more - ahem - "realistic" bat ears. But it does look a bit odd.

He used guns in his very early appearances, inspired by the likes of the Shadow and other vigilantes of the 20s and 30s.

Look, I prefer the Bob Kane look. It's the only costume I use on Arkham Origins.

But this is way off. The ears look ridiculous and the symbol is not accurate to the times.

THAT BEING SAID, it's still a beautiful piece of artwork and I will very much enjoy reading it.

While not a big fan of the ears, even though it is a throwback look, Jim Lee is still the man and one of the best artists to ever draw Batman!

Like the classic look of the ears. Now if only if there was a counterbalance of Batman looking a little more scary, the first appearance version and a bit of Jim Lee Hush influence...

I can not believe that people did not know that Batman used a gun in the early comics. I like the cover though it is a throw back to the golden age of comics.

$8.00!?! Whatever happened to "Drawing the Line at $2.99? It better be 100 pages. Seems like month after month, they find some kind of gimmick to get more money. Glad this isn't one of my regular books.

If it weren't for the fact Jim Lee is involved, I wouldn't consider it.

I'm gonna have to drop some bookss if this keeps up. They've already stopped two of my titles, and will discontinue Batman The Dark Knight and Talon in March.
