I actually dropped JL after the first arc. The writing to me seemed very juvenile but this looks pretty interesting.

I still thin that batman is the very best current stoy arc on Dc comics even in general

@intruder

interesting. this how it's been going for me (though this preview was pretty good)

Used to be good but now horrible artist/story teller + super talented writer who isn't pushing himself for more on this comic = justice league.

though I'm still enjoying it. I think with a better artist i would find the book miles better. I mean, look at that picture of Steve Trevor's sister crying. She looks like shes on drugs.

"Best Artist in Comics" !?!?! gimme a break. i'm honestly not trying to rag on the guy, but he's far too dated and homogeneous to be "best". he IS perfectly suited for the Justice League though, and should consider staying on board for a long long time

gotta agree with you on Johns though. he's down there with Millar and Winnick

@Intruder yeah the guy that brought back Hal Jordan as an A-list character and actually made Aquaman a badass is just terrible! :P

Though at times he has his faults, there is no doubt that he his a great writer. IMO

Why is it every time I click on one of these links somebody is talking about how the art is terrible? Is every single artist terrible?

jl has been really .....bad. gl is written as if its a different character from his own book(which is fantastic)the writing is a mess

I'm so sick of DC just throwing up stories about death & what happens after you die, it is so old.
I personaly like Jim Lee, but Geoff Jones has gotten a little too... politicaly correct?
Just my opinion, but Hope Burns Bright so maybe DC will kick it up a notch!!

I can't wait for this. I've enjoyed JL so far, as well as Aquaman, Batman, and, occasionally, Green Lantern.

no dude jim lee's art looks [frick]ing kindergarden in comparison to his older stuff. page four, last panel makes the girl look happy. most of this looks half assed. johns story tellng has for sure dumbed down too. i felt like the first arc was rushed waaaay to fast. i felt like after the first five pages everybody had already met up. no real character development at all. maybe they just thought the other would carry most of the weight. anyway, i think its lame. I'm a fan of both normally, but thats whack.
