COMICS: First Look At Tony S. Daniel's Artwork From SUPERMAN/WONDER WOMAN #1

While this title has generated some controversy after apparent comparisons to Twilight, it actually looks pretty damn epic! Hit the jump to check out a first look at Tony S. Daniel's (Detective Comics) artwork from Charles Soule's (Swamp Thing) Superman/Wonder Woman #1.

Beginning a bold new series that details the relationship between The Man of Steel and the Warrior Princess as rising star writer Charles Soule is joined by fan favorite artist Tony S. Daniel to tell the tale of a romance that will shake the stars themselves. These two super-beings love each other, but not everyone shares their joy. Some fear it, some test it—and some will try to kill for it. Some say love is a battlefield, but where Superman and Wonder Woman are concerned it spells Doomsday!

This issue features an amazing wraparound gatefold cover that opens up to a triptych with Superman and Wonder Woman in the center!

The guy that is writing this has wrote the latest Red Lantern issues, which are breddy gud, so i'm sort of excited for this even if the whole concept behind it is idiotic and, of course, greedy.

Pretty good. Still not sold about Supes's 52 suit. And Bizarro looks like he and Darkseid are Father and Son.

Supes' neckline looks so bizarre with that collar, but everything else is pretty sweet.

Really cool but with all of this intergalatic fighting going on one would have to wonder how Clark still clocks 40 hours a week at the Planet lol

Superman and Lois should be together. I would rather see Batman and Wonder Woman hook up!

Superman's muscles do not look like human anatomy. They look like Ian Churchill's type of anatomy-which is never good.

I never like Daniels work on Spawn but he seems to have really come into his own recently and has great art.

looks like I'll be saving my money on this. What a coward New 52 Supes is want's to be with Lois Lane but chickens out saying anything.

I still don’t like this relationship. It has no dynamics to it. They don’t really complement each other but I must say that the Big 3 have the best new 52 makeovers.

Does anyone else notice Faora in what looks like her Man of Steel outfit to the far left?

Cool, Daniels did a great Superman in his brief stint on Action comics. Hes a pretty good artist.

Looking forward to this sereis since we've been told that this relationship is so central but havent seen it really.

Hopefully this series will show what we've all been missing.

And anything with Superman in it is always an incentive for me.
