Looks cool but I still find it hilarious that the batman books and GL books are going to be virtually the same with tweaks here and there where as Superman is going a full on reboot. I guess it due to the fact that Superman isn't one of big guns any more sales wise, its Batman and GL

I'll be picking up a few of these "New 52" books to see where DC goes with it. I'm actually looking forward to Jim Lee's Justice League and Greg Capullo's Batman, they both look cool. And i'll probably pick up the first few Superman issues just to see what they're doing with him! This could be cool if done properly, it's not like DC haven't shaken things up in the past! Or is there that many young readers on here that have no idea about Crisis on Infinite Earths?! I'll reserve judgement at least until I read a few titles!

Can someone explain to me why superman is wearing a t-shirt in action comics but wears an armored looking suit in JL?

you can't introduce known characters. as much as DC is dying to do just that and putting all sorts of money into the coloring and production values, this is a horrible idea and worries me that DC has been given a short leash from WB to reach some ridiculous profit goals.

it's an old picture. notice wonder woman still has her pants as well. things will look differently in the book. Honestly i see this whole thing as nothing more than a chance for them to retell the stories that way they can go along with the movies. But who knows, only time will tell for sure.

@Mike

JL will explain the start of the Justice League. Action Comics will explain Superman's new origin and his early years of heroism. Simply put, Action Comics takes place before Justice League.

Batman is supposed to be an ass. He's supposed to be seen as a sort of bad guy, he is supposed to be questionable as a superhero, why he is called a vigilante and not a hero. Honestly, we have all been spoiled by the nice Batman we been getting forever, it's about time we got the real Batman back.

I agree, Johns can never write a good Bruce- especially not when his baby, Hal Jordan is in the room with him .

Superman wears a t-shirt and jeans, in action comics, because that's when he's first starting out. In the beginning of Justice League, he's been Superman for about 5 years.

This is going to be AWESOME.

@CyberBishop, That's supposed to show that it's a time most people think Batman is an urban myth. It's kind of cool to think that after all Green Lantern has seen and done, he still thought Batman wasn't real.

@ MikeHawk. From what I hear that's all explained. the first arc of Action takes place in the past before he gets the sweet new costume.
