That's rights, Orion and surely the rest of the New Gods are making there way to DC Comics New 52. How they factor into DC's Fourth Wave of new titles and the upcoming crossover event centering around Pandora is anyone's guess. But who cares, it's the freakin New Gods! I may have to start reading Wonder Woman again.

The New Gods are a corny as frak bunch of characters that Joe Kirby invented for DC it seems for a laugh. The fact that he had fans meant they took them seriously none the less and adhere to them with pure nostalgia to this very day. The concept of the New Gods is however pretty good, the execution is the shabby part with the names of some of the characters beyond laughable..

Glorious Godfrey
Granny Goodness
Scott Free (an escape artist called Mr Miracle)
The Black Racer (literally a Black guy who ski's through space)



But however corny they seem some of these characters are pretty well depicted in past tales like Orion, Darkseid and Barda.

Excellent, the return of the New Gods in WW is a great way to reintroduce them to the DC universe. With Darkseid around you know the rest weren't far behind. WW is a good read.

Kirby's New Gods came from the destruction of the Asgardians, not the Olympians, but I'm glad DC is doing something with them. I won't read it, but I'm glad the charactesr still exist (in some form,at least)

I'm probably going to start following this now.
I was wondering when the New Gods were going to make their big return. (other than Darkseid)

Never thought it would be Wonder Woman, but with Azzarello, I have the up-most confidence in this.

I will definitely be grabbing the issue #0. (bleh)

I've been cutting my pull list a lot lately but there's always room for WW. One of the many titles I get each month that never disappoints. Can't wait for this new arc.

I get so tired of the sexualization of Wonder Woman its one of the main reasons why her costume seriously needs to be changed. She has been reduced to freaking fan service.

There is absolutely nothing corny about the awesome and excellent New Gods, and Jack Kirby didn't create them for a laugh, what total nonsense!

The New Gods are a concept Kirby kept to himself until he could do them the way he really wanted to, and boy did he!

To this day they are my very fave comicbook characters, in fact they are some of the very best comicbook characters ever created!

It doesn't get any better than Darkseid, Orion, Lightray, Mister Miracle, Big Barda, Desaad, Kalibak, Mantis, Steppenwolf, the Parademons, The Female Furies etc.

The amount of fantastic characters is mindblowing really, and they should of had their very own movie a long time ago!

Really looking forward to this Wonder Woman comic!
