Love this guy. Hated when they switched artists in #4 or #5. Batman superman should have a unique feel.

In a world of samey art by a lot of artist all trying to conform to an industry standard...Jae Lee's work is really refreshing and stand out!!!

I understand that his art is unique and fresh but ultimately it's not for me sad to say. I prefer my heroes to have a consistent art to them but nether the less awesome comic line!

I like the art, although I don't like his version of Superman's S shield, and his hair looks weird. Also, he looks kind of Asian. And he looks like his neck's been broken.

Apart from that, it's great though. Colours are all fantastic, and everything else looks great too. It's just those problems with Superman's chest and his head/

I can dig this kind of art on covers but I hate when it's the art in the comic itself, it's too distracting almost gives me a headache reading it. I like some of this guys cover-art he has done for the Batman/Superman comic but this cover is horriable.

I love Jae Lee's work. But Superman is awkward, forced, and broken looking here. Had his posture been fixed this would be a decent cover.

Way to combat the stereotype of homophobic manchildren fanboys.

@ComradeGrey The cover makes Superman look effeminate that is the complaint. There is a difference from looking/being effeminate and being gay. You are stereotyping gays.

Dammit. Just when the book was getting decent. I like Jae Lee's artwork. It's pretty to look at. But it can't tell a story for shit.

Look, I get why it has to happen sometimes. But why are they CONSTANTLY shifting artist around?
Some caveats to my question . . .
1) I understand it's a business and they can do anything they want . . .
2) I understand artist like variety . . .
3) I'm not talking about keeping an artist for 80 issues (I mean really, they DO have to get 2 or 3 reboots in there)
4) "Scheduling quirkiness is part of the business."Yes, yes . . .

But why SO many SO often?

Meh. Jae lee's covers are nice to look at, but his interior work is unpleasent and very stiff.

A shame too, I was really looking forward to Kenneth Rocafort without Scott Lobdell writing.

This art style doesn't work with a character like Superman.
Fastestmanalive
Fastestmanalive - 12/12/2013, 12:58 PM
Its stylized and different that works in certain stories but in general this art is not for me.

I really liked the last two issues with Brett Booth, he's pretty good.

But a series with the best two super heroes of all time in one both should get nothing but top talent.

Superman looks too feminine. The style doesn't fit Superman. Lee seems to be a good artist, but he is working on the wrong thing now. IMOP
