DC Comics just announced DC Universe vs. The Masters of the Universe. Keith Giffen and artist Dexter Soy the current team on Masters of the Universe will serve as the creative force behind a 6-issue limiteds series that kicks off this August.


After narrowly escaping his last battle with He-Man, Skeletor has fled to the most unexpected realm to recover: EARTH! Once there, he sets a plan in motion to siphon off Earth’s core magic. Forging an unlikely hunting party, He-Man and company go in search of Skeletor. Finding themselves at odds with the heroes of the DC Universe, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe must find a way to stop Skeletor and his mysterious new master!


I'm oddly, overly excited about this.

He-Man's sword is magic...if it were a fight to the death, I'd put my money on He-Man, but I'm guessing it'll be a draw with them realizing at the end they're both the good guys.

yea I am not a big DC fan but I have to think with no preperation batman kicks all their asses at the same time. Who cares that he-man has a magic sword, like he has any chance of hitting supes with it.

I'm a sucker for inter-property crossovers of any kind. I own just about all of them. Superman/Muhammed Ali, Star Trek/X Men, Transformers/Avengers, TMNT/Savage Dragon, Sonic/Mega Man? Heck yes. I'm on board for this too.
