Re: Supergirl "Who sent Supergirl from Krypton to Earth? The answer is not what you think!"
The answer is not what I think? So it wasn't Zod?!
nooch.

First one is pretty cool. I have never been a fan of there being other kryptonians apart from Zod, but that is because he is the polar opposite of Supes. Always felt having more than just Superman takes away from Superman feeling isolated and alone in the universe.

"Who shot her father Zor El?!" Um... Zod?

All those costumes look kinda contrived except the Action Comics cover. Not a huge fan of T-shirt/Jeans Supes but damn that cover looks amazing

Knightrider@ Yeah. And isn't that what Crisis was all about in the first place? What's The New 52 about? Oh that's right. Money. Not creative, artistic sense. Money.

Just like Before Watchmen. Money.

Aside from Action Comics it has been hard to care about the Superman books. Kenneth Rocafort on Superman is a good choice but I do not see the appeal in Scott Lobdell writing.

That Action Comics cover is beautiful. Should be a poster. Damn, it should be in the Louvre. It's that flooding of red cape at the top of the page that does it for me. That and the painted magnificence. See Alex Ross? This is how it's done. It's not precise and photo-real, but it's good. It's got feeling to it. Depth. Is this Ben Oliver? 'Cause he's awesome generally, but this is sumpin' else..

Whats with the green uniform on Supes?

@HavocPrime

That is Jor-El as he appeared in flashbacks in Action comics earlier in the series. Apparently Superman will explore some elements from Action Comics.

For some reason, now I feel like I have to pick up AC#0 and Superman #0.

I picked up the #1 issues of those, so I guess I might as well.

Man, that AC#0 cover is very well done. The art is fantastic.

Ben Oliver is the man, but where did Clark get the S T-shirts from? I also hate the fact he stole Connor's costume and Conner gets stuck with the Tron costume and horrible books.
