Kind of reminds me how the first issue of Avengers Assembles resembles the first issue of JL.

That said, this looks pretty awesome though I wish Lee did the cover to this.

He is Power Ring.

Still an ugly cover, but now without the benefit of Jim Lee's sharp linework.

LEVITIKUZ

So I'm confused.

Is Cyborg dead? I mean he needed that suit to survive. Maybe this is how J'onn becomes a full-time member.

And no Sea King, because he got shot in the back on the ride over...

@Levi - No way they kill off Cyborg, he's the only black member of the Justice League.
LEVITIKUZ

And J'onn is the only Martian of the JL.

Ya I would have liked to see the Sea King (Aquaman counterpart) survive the transition to Earth One... I read somewhere that Johns made Sea King a pun on Aquaman from the 90's wher ehe is looked at as a joke of a character and his appearance is VERY similar to 90's Aquaman... Id have liked to see The Sea King in the Syndicate, but not sure who they'd have killed... Maybe we will get alternate versions of Hawkman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Stargirl, Catwoman etc...

I wish they do away with the collar on Superman's uniform, you can see how good it would look by looking at Ultra man's uniform.

Well LEVITIKUZ... They say the entire league is "dead" .... Obviously well find out what happened to them towards the end of forever evil... But to answer your question, when grid separated itself from victor Simon baz immediately covered in with his ring... So theoretically that was keeping him alive directly after they were separated

uhhh you guys do realize that Forever Evil is essentially the Justice League is dead right? So yes Levi, Cyborg is dead. And so is J'onn and Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and Flash. All dead.

Um...when did the lazy cover from JL#1 become "iconic"??

That JL cover looked like every cover to the Marvel Universe encyclopedia by John Byrne years and years ago.

Cool

and if Bruce and the rest are 'dead' does that mean Dick Grayson took the mantle and is the Batman we saw in the Forever Evil teasers

Superman looks pretty awesome in the new52 suit. Ultramans suit looks pretty simple and too much like the old earth superman.

Its funny because I'm reading Crisis on Infinite Earths for the first time, and was just introduced to these characters right before the giant Bugs Bunny eraser eliminated them all.

Of course, even obliterating your entire universe can't keep a good super-villain down.
Tevii
Tevii - 9/5/2013, 12:31 PM
@levi - no cyborg didnt die, GL made a construct to save him. You can see that he saved him in the issue.

and Im guessing none died, they just got teleported to where the Syndicate came from

I DON'T like those costumes. It's the NEW 52 dammit! Give them some sleek updated costumes, those are EXACTLY like the ones from the 90s!!!

Also, New 52 Superman's costume > Everything else.

GREAT ARTWORK...would love to pick up the Forever Evil arc...well if had the funds that is....I agree w/ Batmaniac...It would be great to see the crime syndicate on the big screen...maybe Justice League 2...It would be a fantastic lead in to doing a DC multiverse...
