@KryptonianAbominationClone I'm a Marvelite (a sensible one) and I've loved Aquaman since the New 52! DC has made him one of my favorite heroes!

@Marvels1stFan, making fun of Aquaman? really? That's original... and also outdated... it just shows everyone that you are not currently reading some of the best comics out there. Give it a rest!

@Marvel1stFan The new 52 Aquaman has been amazing. Care to elaborate why Aquaman is a "fag"?

I am going to have to check this out. When John Ostrander did The Spectre in the 90s it was one of my favorite runs in comics.

dude Aquaman is awesome. I picked up his new 52 stuff and have been blown away by how amazing it is.

If you dont like Aquaman right now, something is wrong.

His costume is utterly ridiculous, it's still stuck in the 1950's with pointy green gloves and a big Sesame Street "A" on his belt to remind him what his name begins with.

He's one character they're gonna seriously have to revamp to make him credible on the big screen, this kinda cheese is only for die hard fanboys who can never bear the thought of change.

I've only read the first 4 issues and have to give props to Johns for making Aquaman badass and likeable. I don't have hardon for his GL storied like a lot of people on here but the work he's done with HAl JOrdon is amazing

@Ceejay, I think it is hilarious when people try to talk Superhero fashion as if any Superhero costume is in style... Like, in the 60's someone could go to a party dressed as Aquaman and be considered cool but now... since fashion is different that person would be made fun of... unless it was a 60's fashion themed party... Seriously, Isn't it more realistic if a man from Atlantis wears clothing that does not look like the fashion worn by us today? And as for the "A" on his belt.... It is a Symbol of Atlantis... you know, the country his linage comes from... think of it as better then the A on Captain America's forehead... but instead of it being an actual A standing for America it really is a Symbol that can look like an A but has no ties to the English Alphabet... Really, I think Aquaman is quite epic.

Yeah TheWolverine a marvelite is someone who only likes Mavel comics and dismisses DC comics and characters out of hand with no reasoning for it other than its not Marvel. A Nolanite is the opposite.

You're just a sensible person who likes what they like. Marvelites and Nolanites are trolls.

Marvels1stfan is a 11 year old with internet access ;)

As for this... meh. I like Aquaman and Geoff Johns. I liked his run on Aquaman too but, honestly, I dont like the Outsiders. They just seem so... blah. Yawara is hot but thats about all they got going for them.

Oh will you grow up! I'm not asking you to like DC but just to respect it! Without DC, Marvel probably would never have happened as Superman did kickstart superhero popularity.

if they want to make Aquaman into a movie, or feature him in any film, I think Injustice had a pretty good idea for the costume

Just the plain orange would look strange onscreen

Aquaman is my favorite DC hero thanks to Injustice and The New 52, but I'm really really tired of people ripping into him. How arrogant can you be?

With Ostrander writing one must take heed. He is great and should be writing all the screenplays for DC. He will definitely make Aquaman an even bigger presence.
