Duke McQueen once saved an alien world from destruction -- but it happened in a place nobody believes in, during a time nobody remembers. Surrounded by memories of his late wife and his happier past, Duke's days as a hero are long gone...or so he thinks! Now, a young visitor from the world Duke once saved is coming to him with a desperate plea for help. It's one last chance at adventure for Duke, and another chapter to unfold in the ever-expanding Millarworld Universe!

Right on. This series is gonna rock. Kind of an Incredibles/Star Wars kind of vibe to it.

I love that synopsis. That and the cover have a very manga-esque feel to them.

Rather, the character designs on the cover do...

I'm not getting the Incredibles/Star Wars vibe at all.

It's Flash Gordon coming out of retirement, look at the ship design and costumes, just like the old black & white serials.

Colour me interested...

Ya think maybe his name is an allusion to two of the biggest action stars ever.....Steve McQueen and "The Duke" John Wayne? Pretty clever if you ask me. I'm with @DarthMuave, clearly a heavy Flash Gordon influence, if not a direct sequel to those stories. Either way this looks great. Pull list!

Did Millar ever finish the WAR HEROES series?
If not,he needs too.
Hope STARLIGHT is good & they make a movie based on it.
Give an old guy a starring role.
