First Clips From THE SCRIBBLER Starring ARROW's Katie Cassidy

In these first two clips from the upcoming graphic novel adaptation, Suki (Katie Cassidy) has a very strange altercation with a mysterious girl (Michelle Trachtenberg) searching for her dog. Then we meet her neighbour (Garret Dillahunt), who attempted suicide after a bad hair day.

Says NAA founder Gabe Cowan of the flick: “The Scribbler respects its graphic novel roots and became this insane, intense action movie with tons of cool new sci-fi elements. It’s a mixture of ridiculously talented actresses kicking the crap out of each other while also commenting on individuality vs. conformity.”

The Scribbler concerns Suki (Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using "The Siamese Burn", an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being "cured", she’s haunted by a thought...what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?

The Scribbler id based on a 2006 graphic novel by Daniel Schaffer, who also penned the screenplay for director John Suits. It stars Katie Cassidy (Arrow, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy), Eliza Dushku (Buffy), Gina Gershon (Bound), Sasha Grey (Open Windows), Garret Dillahunt (The Last House on the Left, The Road), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and Billy Campbell (The Killing).

Going off topic, but you guys should check out The Machine. Katie Lotz stars as an A.I engineer who... well I don't want to spoil it, but it's a real nice indie sci fi flick with very efficient storytelling. And Lotz is pretty amazing in it.

She's more attractive in the trailers for this movie than she was in two seasons of Arrow.
