In Honor Of Valentine's Day, Who Has The Best Superhero Relationship?
Is it Superman and Lois? Batman and Catwoman? Joker and Harley? Is it really such a good thing when superheros and villains find love? Check out some of the top candidates and make your own suggestions in the comment section.
BATMAN & CATWOMAN
In the comic books, Batman has a son by Talia Al Ghul but that doesn't stop Catwoman from sinking her claws into the Dark Knight Detective. On the other side, Batman makes time for Selina Kyle only when his war on crime allows it. Why spend time with a voluptuous, acrobatic cat burglar when you can spend all your time with deranged, schizophrenic weirdos and your underage sidekick right?
SUPERMAN & LOIS LANE
Sure, if they ever got busy, Superman would probably kill Lois but that doesn't stop them from carrying a torch for one another. But maybe their lack of physical intimacy explains why Superman is spending so much time with Wonder Woman lately and why Lois has Bruce Wayne's phone number in her rolodex.
IRON MAN & PEPPER POTTS
Rich, handsome, genius intellect, Tony Stark can have any woman he wants. So who does he pick, his best friend's woman of course. Better luck next time Happy.
BLACK PANTHER & STORM
Probably the biggest Marvel wedding to date (sorry Northstar), Storm and Black Panther's marriage lasted all of six years before ending in physical combat and divorce. Way to not play to stereotypes Marvel.
GREEN ARROW & BLACK CANARY
Nothing like having a significant other that can kick your butt, right Ollie?
RALPH & SUE DIBNY
Maybe Sue and Reed Richards belong here but Mister Fantastic couldn't be dragged from his science lab and Invisible Woman just happened to be in Atlantis. Hmmm... Franklin is a mutant right.....
JOKER & HARLEY QUINN
Who knows what happens off-panel when Joker takes out his Batman-frustrations on Harley...actually, I think I want to see that. Snyder?
THANOS & MISTRESS DEATH
Nothing says I love you like destroying all of creation.
