This series has been great, but where the heck does it for in into the timeline of events??

Great! Another alternate timeline of things that may or may not happen set in the future.

Remember when Marvel characters fought bank robbers and car chases and the world wasn't ending every 6 months?

@wookie and deth pillow-
No bank robberies because comics are recognizing their place as fantasy/sci-fi - why explore stories of bank robbers instead of the implications of a 'super' world of mutants, celestials, alternate universes and resurrection. Same old stopping crime is played out.

At least it does not have Wolverine in it so I might check this out.

@ orpheus

I get that, no problem. I just want a year of Marvel Comics or DC where they focus on their own story arcs and not end of the wolrd issues. I liked Spider-Man growing up because he had his personal stuff going on but was trying to stop burglars, car thiefs, and his cache of big baddies.

Due a huge universe arc every other year or so envolving team-ups and such. That's all.

Wait. The Blob can run?!? It must take him 500-600 yards to come to a stop. Plus, I didn't think he would run for anything that didn't have a Little Debbie label on it.

I guess asking Magneto to be more tolerant is like asking Gusto to visit the girl scouts JUST for the cookies.

Another alt universe? Yay. Original. Why does Havok look like some Tron douche?

@ Wookie

Right....because I want to read about super heroes fighting common criminals like bank robbers and stopping car chases.

That sounds really exciting...

This takes place before Age of Ultron and is part of the reason that the Time line shattered. By the end of this obviously Kang will go back in time with his future "Avengers" and set things right. Until then we get some wacky alternate future shenanigans.

@Magus
