Meet the Phoenix Five..

Avengers vs. X-Men Issue 6 Exclusive First Look

Yes, ol Tony Stark makes a bit of a boo boo in Avengers VS X-Men #5 when in an attempt to stop the Phoenix Force from taking over its host Hope Summers, he inadvertently splits the entity into five - with each separate aspect possess Cyclops, Namor, Emma Frost, Colossus and his little sister Majik. oops!

Says issue #5 writer Matt Fraction..

"The mutants are now the Earth's mightiest heroes, capable of doing all this cosmic-scale, epic (stuff). And the Avengers are scrambling to keep up and keep things in perspective."


I guess we now know where the previously released tagline "No More Avengers" comes from. With this much power in the X-stable, what can The Avengers do to stop them? Does this mean the end of Colossus/Juggernaut? I like it, however, you would think with those powers combined he'd be stronger or on par with the Hulk...he just seems like Colossus with a bad attitude & helmet now. But I like these Power Ranger Zeo looking X-Men lmao!
