Could they have made Namor look like anymore of an obnoxious asshole? Seriously he's high on himself but he's not devoid of a conscience. He was under the influence, but there isn't a character that understands etiquette and the pressures and pain of a monarch more than Namor. Equal? Yes. More? No.

1. Black Panther defeated the Fantastic Four on his own WITHOUT prep time,
2. he defeated Mephisto with planning as well as Silver Surfer with prep,
3. he once defeated and killed a Super Skrull that had 1. Luke Cage's superhuman strength and durability, Wolverine's claws, Iron Fist's chi, Bullseye's accuracy, and the combined fighting skills of T'Challa, Captain America, Daredevil, Elektra, Shang-Chi, and Moon Knight.
4. He once defeated his uncle S'Yan (who was the current Black Panther at the time and enhanced with the herb) while he wasn't enhanced
5. He once killed a Superhumanly powered alien Lycan (werewolf)

But yeah, Namor is more powerful than Panther, but BP is no slouch either.

Namor is murderer of a nation. Where is the funeral? The genocide comments? The prison? The guilt talks? oh oh yeah. All are on hold for Scott Summers. SMH

BLACK PANTHER!!

Love the lion head although it's not a black panther.. Nice touch tho, I guess it shows who the real king of the jungle is. lls.
STILL.. Waitin on a BLACK PANTHER MOVIE!!

ps: Namor destroyed Wakanda, if TChalla has any reason to go all out this would be it. He's extremely resiliant and a frikkin genius & I think .. [$#!+ done just got real]-Mike Lowry voice

I think this series will really surprise us...issue one of the avengers was pretty stellar so I expect new avengers will do the same

Panther is gonna come for Namor soon. Might not be till after their stint as teammates is over, but there is no doubt that Black Panther and The Sub-Mariner will throw down, Phoenix posessed or not.
