COMICS: Cyclops' Mutant Revolution Continues In First Look At Artwork From ALL-NEW X-MEN #3

"Don't worry, my brothers and sisters of the atom. We are the X-Men and we stand together," said Cyclops in All-New X-Men #1. In this first look at artwork from issue #3, we see him and the rest of his Uncanny team continue to fight the humans who oppress mutants.

He may have killed Charles Xavier while under the influence of the Phoenix Force, but Avengers Vs. X-Men still saw Cyclops become a fan favourite character with a bigger following now than ever before. Before the launch of Uncanny X-Men next February, Scott Summers' mutant revolution can be seen in Brian Michael Bendis' All-New X-Men as he continues to recruit the emerging mutants to his cause, while also protecting them from the oppression of humans. In this sneak peek at artwork from Brian Michael Benids (Avengers) and Stuart Immonen's (Fear Itself) All-New X-Men #3, we see Cyke and Magneto seemingly attempting to break out yet another recruit.

• The flagship X-Book marches on!
• The original 5 X-Men are back, but that’s not all that’s happening.
• What happened to the Phoenix 5 from AVENGERS VS. X-MEN?

I was upset with what they did to Cyclops but they're plan was great. I love the direction they are taking the characters. Wolverine and Cyclops changing roles was great.

@marvel72

For me FF is the second, and Uncanny Avengers on 5th place. Iron Man is the worst.

Cyclops is my hero. He and Magneto are so good together.

I also love that they're taking one of the ONLY good parts of X3 and adapting it! They're rescuing Emma. Mark my words.

I wish he'd get that suit, or at least a variation of that suit in the movies. Same goes for Magneto.

@ Sora. "Swagneto" is easily the most brilliant use of the word "swag" I've ever witnessed. Thank you.

And yeah, Cyke is a total hoss now. Glad they're treating him a little better, despite him being a "villain".

Cyclops was right. He's an anti-hero. Villains don't have a cause or conscience.

I like this X-title the best. It gets back to the original feel of the X-men: misunderstood, feared, oppressed, hated, while saving the world...

W&Xmen is highschool hijinks + mutant powers
X-force is assassination squad + mutant powers (cool, but is more like reading a special forces story)
Uncanny Avengers is just the Avengers with mutant members.

Scott's got a great scowl going on there. I like this suit a lot and I'm not digging the new suit with the x manly because you can't get a cool visual like you do with this costumes visor. Especially if its a circle beam instead of its current flat rectangle beam. I wonder if they will ever cut the top of his suits head and let his hair breath again.

I have supported Cyclops actions ever since decimation. If Commander Rogers didn't keep poking Cyclops with a stick, the world would have entered a new era of peace(before you know the Phoenix did make the five go nuts).

I think the problem is everyone is blaming Cyclops but nobody has offered up suggestions. I'm glad the consequence mini showed us that Wolverine was just angry that Cyclops was the better man that he could aspire to be.

Well at least Cyclops respects Wolverine to keep the school open while Cyclops actually takes care of business.

I think, changes in Cyke started, when he was Apocalypse's vessel.

That's sweet!!!

I'm going to be mad if they're just freeing the Toad. Of course, it is entirely likely as Magneto doesn't like to travel without his "road-bitch".

This is fun. Not just Cyclops taking the lead again and just being a complete badass but also how the majority feel on this site. After everything we really seem to CARE. Cyclops is doing awesome. Great uniforms, action, stories coming up. Yep. This is fun.

I have NEVER been a cyclops fan and this new direction may finally change that. Its like he's contorting Xavier's beliefs into a personal war against anyone who threatens mutants. Cyclops is a total BADA$$ now and I hop this change in the character isn't short-lived.

I can forgive AvX's clusterfückness knowing it was just a vessel for this epic cyke.
