Apparently Hastings is a chain store that recently began ordering their comics from the direct market, and are now issuing their own variant covers on certain titles. That may make getting your hands on the following variant issue well worth your while, I guess it depends on how many Hastings there are in The US? Anyway, regardless of its value it's still a pretty cool cover, as Deadpool takes bets from the likes of Apocalypse, Mr Sinister and Red Skull on which team will win out in Avengers Vs X-Men. Who would you place your money on?

The two biggest franchises in comics history go to war! A 12-issue event written by the unprecedented team of Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction with art by the blockbuster trio of John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel and Adam Kubert, Avengers VS X-Men brings Marvel's biggest characters into conflict for an unforgettable battle beginning in April 2012!
