This is some great stuff. They really nailed the characterization on the villains. Only lame thing is Spidey's mask.

This is such garbage. Feels like an Inspector Gadget episode. Artwork is solid, though.

The mask is only part of Spider-man's costume he has a new costume designed to take on the Sinister Six. This has a face plate that comes off and that small face cover underneath so if he loses it then he doesn't give up his identity. He wears his regular costume in the regular series but this one for the last 4 comics even though it has been beat up pretty bad.

I haven't kept up a Spiderman for a while, so what's up with Octavious having no use of his arms and legs?

@skidz
Octavius has a spinal degenerative disorder due to his being hit by superhumans over and over. He's dying and this is his final way of getting back at the world.

Loving Slott's run on Spiderman. Pider Island was silly fun, but this will be awesome! Can't wait for the trade.

Maybe all of this is leading up to Spidey getting reunited with Mary Jane!

No, seriously though. This looks like an interesting story arc and potential a good send off of Doc Ock.

@LordHuck, Walking Dead, Lone Wolf and Cub, Asterios Polyp, old Buscema Conan, We 3, Grant Morrison's run on X-Men. No, I don't think much from Marvel or DC has been decent in the past 5 years. How many times do we need to see Spider Man fight Mysterio or Doc Ock or Green Goblin?
