Had to make the obvious joke.
And this comic, along with Superior Spider-Man and X-Men titles, are the exact reasons Marvel needs to go the New 52 route.
I've got some good ideas for Avengers comics reboot too.

@eachonman - Do you not think it is good for super heroes to die once in a while? And would it not make complete sense for someone else to pick up the mantle? I actually get more annoyed that super heroes never die... and when they do they are brought back to life. All of us have aged and yet the super heroes we keep reading about in comics rarely age at all.

I've enjoyed this mini, but as everyone has pointed it out, it tends to be unintentionally funny in places.

Or, perhaps, it's being intentionally funny but the comedy isn't working in this otherwise dramatic tale. For instance, every former gal of Matt's has at least one child that looks exactly like him.

A lot of those scenes are wrought with tension, so the comedy visual -- rather that lightening the tone -- becomes a distraction from the drama.

Ah well. Still having fun.

The House of Ideas, always coming up with brand new ideas. Watch as superheroes masturbate for an entire issue and you have to find the double page where the fap noises are coming from...its gonna be a surprise! lol
