Immonen is one of the best artist in comics right now. I'd buy just about anything with him in it.

HULK SKRULLS BUCKY ROGERS TONY STARK THOR & EVERY OTHER D GRADE MARVEL CHARACTER = EPIC DEBACLE FAIL.
I cannot believe that Matt Fraction SLEDGED DC cOMICS WHILE PROMOTING THIS SERIES BY SAYING THESE EXACT WORDS "It's not a DC crossover, you don't have to read 780,000 books to get the whole thing" WHAT A F***ING W**KER...
MARVEL IS THE ONLY COMPANY IN THE WORLD THAT HAS HAD CROSSOVERS THAT YOU HAVE NEEDED TO READ 1 MILLION ISSUES WITH PUNISHER AND WOLVERINE AND VENOM APPEARING IN EVERY F***ING BOOK FOR EVERY MONTH OF EVERY YEAR...
F**K MARVEL AFTER THIS FOR LIFE !!!
GEOFF JOHNS IS CROSSOVER GOD AND DC ARE IMMORTAL...
ALL YOU MARVLE FANS ARE JUST STUPID READING D GRADE CHARCTERS ALL THE TIME AND 1 MILLION CROSSOVER BOOKS...
DC = EPIC

@ Everyone
I think you've missed Aussies point. Its not that he's a DC boy ranting about Marvel. It's that he's a Marvel fan that's been driven to rant.So now he's abandoning Marvel.
I like both companies and dislike crossovers no matter the publisher. Its just a cynical money making tactic and has nothing to do with art.

I know that. I meant isn't Bucky currently in a Russian gulag?

Read it again. And I quote 'MARVEL IS THE ONLY COMPANY IN THE WORLD THAT HAS HAD CROSSOVERS THAT YOU HAVE NEEDED TO READ 1 MILLION ISSUES WITH PUNISHER AND WOLVERINE AND VENOM APPEARING IN EVERY F***ING BOOK FOR EVERY MONTH OF EVERY YEAR...
F**K MARVEL AFTER THIS FOR LIFE !!! '
That obviously shows in plain English that he has been reading Marvel books and is now leaving them because he's sick of crossovers. Otherwise how would he know about it all? And why state that 'after this' he's frickin them off?
I'm not defending his anti Marvel sentiments or his use of language or bad grammar etc.Only stating that I agree with his point about crossovers in general.I think he made his point, but badly.
Btw TheIntruder, did you used to be plain old 'Intruder'? If so,how're you mate? Still not up for X-Men First Class?:)

Don't bother turning on me mate.I'm not picking a fight.I'm not a DC fanboy.I'm a fan of comics.I don't give a sh*t who the publisher is.If the stories are good I'll read them. All I'm saying is that when I read his comment what I got from it was that he was a Marvel fan who'd had enough.Personally I find DC's crossovers just as annoying.I'd rather read say a Batman story arc entirely in Batman or Detective no matter if it lasts two years or more, instead of having to shell out for 6 books I'd normally not bother with just to keep up.
Don't know where he plucked the 'd' list comment from mind you...
Lol fair enough.Didn't think you'd come around on the X-men front :) Surprised you're not giving GL a chance though...What did you think of Thor? :)

How can I be a DC 'fanboy' if I read comics from all publishers??? If someone was bashing a Marvel character I like I'd come in on Marvel's side too. And where have I back tracked?Did you read the end of my first comment??
Sure I read the Batman and GL titles but I also read Spidey,Thor(now gone back to the classic 'Journey into Mystery :) ),Conan and Kull,Warlord of Mars (plus spin offs),Walking Dead etc etc etc.DC,Marvel,Dark Horse,Image etc. it's all good to me.I honestly just love comics :)
I thought GL has its cgi issues and I'm not keen on Blake Lively but the movie doesn't look that bad.Thor was great!Really enjoyed that one once I saw it again in 2d.The 3d conversion didn't work for me,just blurred all the good bits.

It's cool bro.
I have collected DC longer than any other publisher but I'm no 'fanboy'.If I think its good I'll say so,no matter the source.Same if its shite.Although if I think something is bad I usually can't be bothered to comment.
I've collected comics for 28 years now and have been buying selected Marvel stuff for around a decade.Like I said, mostly The Amazing Spider-man (until last year),X-men,and my favourite Marvel character,Thor.
Batman may be my favourite character of all but that doesn't mean I think DC can do no wrong or that they are any better (or worse) than Marvel and the rest.
This DC vs Marvel stuff confuses me a bit as most of the people behind the books float from company to company anyway! :)

It is heading that way.But even in the classic silver age guys like Neal Adams etc went where the job was.I remember seeing some pencil sketches by Neal for possible looks for Wolverine without his mask on at a time when he was rocking The Batman. That sums it up for me really. Both houses use the best they can when they can.It makes for classics from both.Dude, plain and simple,I'm in love with the artform and all these movies coming out make the little kid in me that first picked up a comic buzz!
The only movie I'm really unsure of is Cap.But that's only because I don't know enough about him.Ironically I think it was a Cap comic that was my first ever.I remember it had a black Bucky with him on the cover...I couldn't get into it though so I never bothered with Cap again. All I know of him is the basics.Hopefully the movie will give me a better view of him and maybe turn me onto his books :)

Can't believe I just found it! It was Captain America 334 introducing the new Bucky! White background with Cap and Bucky coming straight at you.Awesome.That's a hell of a flashback!!! It was 1987 so it wouldn't have been my first after all. Here's a link though if you want to check it out:

intruders right about aussyace- when was the last time u saw venom or punisher in a major event? venom was in siege for about 6 panels. dc sucks. superman and batman are like youre parents- always telling you what to do. spiderman is like everybody else- asking "what do i do?" theres way more to marvel characters than boring no personality dc fags.
