celestials,thor had a great storyline fighting them,i'm not sure how the x-men will square up to them but i'm very intrested in finding out.

Okay I need to start re-reading X-men.

As for the Celestial (The golden one, known as the Dreaming Celestial) he showed up in the Neil Gaiman "Externals" mini-series and was a mjaor plot point in the first parts of the X-men moving to San Fran. Sinister I have no idea, but it fits!
