COMICS: First Look At Jock's SAVAGE WOLVERINE #10 Cover

Frank Cho recently both wrote AND pencilled a story arc in Savage Wolverine, and Marvel were clearly happy with the results as they have brought superstar artist Jock (Batman) on board to do exactly the same. Check out his cover for issue #10 of the "Marvel NOW!" series!

Savage Wolverine is clearly going to be one of those titles which will feature A-List creator after A-List creator. Frank Cho recently wrapped up a superb five issue arc and Zeb Wells and Joe Madureira's highly anticipated team-up for a story featuring Spider-Man and Elektra recently kicked off in the title. While Cho is expected to return at some point, Jock is up next to both write and pencil an arc which will pick up with Logan at a point many, many years from now due to the fact that his healing factor has allowed him to live for centuries. "Logan has the power of regeneration as we know, but he'd only ever be able to regenerate his own cells," Jock told USA Today a few weeks ago. "So what if thousands, maybe even millions of years in the future, the world around him has continued to evolve, and he's left literally, a Neanderthal man? He always chose to be the outsider, but now he has no choice. He doesn't fit in." Below is his cover to issue #10 of the "Marvel NOW!" series.

@GUNSMITH: Exactly my thoughts. They're undoubtedly gonna retcon Old Man Logan out of continuity.

Um guys Old Man Logan went out of continuity the second Steve Rogers became Cap. America again, since in the story Red Skull killed Bucky as Cap.

So Jock does like one good Batman print and now he's the go-to-guy for "Hey I can art like that too" covers. This guy is getting way too much praise for art that doesn't deserve it.

That sounds pretty cool actually. Old Man Logan was nothing more than an alternate future to begin with, and so is this. Lol, "out of continuity", you people are walking cartoons. Every time I wade into the comment section here, I'm reminded that Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons isn't an exaggeration, just an accurate representation of half the people who comment here.

Jocks an average artist and this cover is abstract to the point of being funny, if it didn't say wolverine I wouldnt know it was him.

I've droped so many marvel books this last month, looks like I'm adding another one, sigh. I

miss regular marvel when wolverine was a bad ass (not a school teacher)and the rest of the

heroes wer to busy stoping bank Robbers and evil scientist from taking over the world.

Now their to busy galavanting through space and measuring each others dickz.

That cover is horrible. It looks like a big undefined black splotch with two little dots in the middle. Ugly!
