@Gusto
To many? It's just 2099 now, scarlet is long gone, Reilly is Dead. In another time you'd be 100% correct. Perhaps I missed someone.
Will certainly miss Superior... I've been reading it since #1. It was a great run, but I miss Pete.

Is it really possible that Otto will become a spirit like Pete and swim in his consciousness?
At least I hope Pete will find the way to get rid of him, I don't how we would all react with a schizophrenic Parker.

Along with Peter returning, I hope they do a 2099 series as well. I'd love to read a book with that guy in it.

They did a 2099 Spider-Man series, it got canceled and it's YOUR fault!

If they have to bring back Peter Parker, I hope at least Ock continues to headline his own series. He has been a very interesting character this entire run. I'd like to see him continue to try to do good in his own twisted ways or , possibly, truly reform himself and have some new life with Anna Maria and his start up company.

What always made Spider-man a good comic book was the balance between superheroics and everyday personal issues. It was easy to genuinely care about Peter's problems with his relationships, money, and his scientific aspirations. Eventually he went through everything (death of a friend, death of a girlfriend, betrayals, death of his aunt, guilt, love, marriage, etc.) so they had to resort to ridiculous retcons (bringing aunt may back, bringing gwen stacy back, bringing green goblin back, he was always a clone, his marriage is retconned, etc). Who cares anymore. With Ock, its been new and genuine again.

@ JustThiwpit

Scarlet Spider is still around. He's over in the recently launched New Warriors title.

"Norman Osborn has his hands on Otto Octavius' new love tool"

Should be quite an interesting issue by the sound.
