Marvel will release a five issue mini-series called Spider-Men this July. In it, a common villain brings together Peter Parker(the classic 616) and Miles Morales(the Ultimate Version). This is the first time that the two different universes have had any sort of crossover, making it a historic meeting!

Here is Sara Pichelli's cover for Spider-Men #3:

This June, it’s time for Peter Parker, better known as the Amazing Spider-Man, to cross worlds and meet Miles Morales…the all-new Spider-Man? Marvel is proud to announce Spider-Men, an all-new five issue landmark story from award-winning author Brian Michael Bendis (Avengers VS. X-Men, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man), red-hot artist Sara Pichelli (Ultimate Comics Spider-Man) and acclaimed cover artist Jim Cheung (Avengers VS. X-Men), which brings Peter Parker and Miles Morales together for the first time. That’s right, the Spider-Man from two different realities—the Marvel Universe and Ultimate Comics Universe—bring their worlds together for a battle no one web-head could win!

When Spider-Man tracks down one of his deadliest villains, he suddenly finds himself thrust into another world where Peter Parker is dead…and there’s a new Spider-Man in town. As these two heroes learn the truth about their identities and their universes, they’ll embark on a journey that’ll leave them forever changed—and reveal a startling truth about a key player in the Spider-Man mythos!

@gusto

Sara Pichelli's art is really good. She used to do some Star Trek comics that are great. She also does art for Ultimate Version of Spiderman.

I mean look at this...

Thats nothing but great art!

meh....would rather see Ultimate Peter Parker meet Amazing Peter Parker......For 616 Spidey to see and interact with a younger version yet somewhat different version of himself would be pretty cool

Miles is just not Spider-man....it kind of cheapens up the whole being Spider-man thing.....almost as bad as Spider-Island...ugh

And no its not cause Miles is Black/Hispanic....it just seems too many mother [frick]ers are Spidey or have Spider power.....Ezikiel and the whole Spider type powered person per generation crap.

Now we have Kaine running around as Scarlet Spider

Yeah its getting thick and milky....STOP IT MARVEL

If you are going to bring back something bring back Spider-man 2099 and let Ultimate die like it should of with Ultimate Peter Parker

There is just something I don't like about the term "Spider-Men".

Keep the gimmicks coming. I would rather read team-ups, fights, and see every hero on their roster cross-overed than for them to reboot. Better for them to tread water until they get some creative juices involved, than to trash years of story, charactor, creator and fan loyalty. Rebooting, although good for a few background charactors, sucked balls and spit in the consumers faces.

I just hope that this is going to be one-time thing. I would hate if universes in Marvel multiverse would start constantly interact with each others.

I like the reference here.

Miles is only a reflection of Peter Parker.

Great Art
