Ultimate sucks they killed off every favourite character and brought in exactly the same ones but with different names, it has dissapointed me and i don't see it lasting for too much longer maybe another year thats it

Ultimate comics was really good for a long time. especially spider-man and ultimates. ultimatum wasn't the best idea but i do give the ultimate universe props for sticking with dead is dead. It was pretty brave for them to kill off so many people in ultimatum but i dont know if it was the best idea to go so extreme. The thing i always find funny though is how many people complain about how dead doesn't mean anything in comics and how they wish dead meant dead, but then nobody is happy about it when ultimate sticks with it. It's really funny to me.

@BatSlam - Very true Ultimate comics was great for the long run but then Ultimatum came and ruined it but the Ultimate comics X was good if not rushed I havent read Ultimate comis X-Men yet, But Jimmy Hudson Wolverines son is a good character, Ultimate Wolverine was originally going to be in his teens anyway so they've basically just killed him off to try their original idea i guess

I really want Captain America back in the Ultimates if I am going to read it, but I will still probably get the Secret War variant if it isn't too expensive.

@marvel 72 nope that was good but he died a [frick]ing rediculous, stupid pointless death by iron man and cyclops but by the control of magneto, a.bunch of hero who main powers had metal or metal alloys going against magneto is like trying to put out a fire with lighter fluid

The Ultimates universe went from a pretty cool idea to a really silly mess in just a few years.

Anyone who doesn't know about all the deaths and changes go back and read Ultimate Secret and go from there, it's actually a pretty good ride for a crappy universe.

Ultimate spider-man was the best thing about the ultimate universe and they killed him. I used to love the ultimate universe overall, but I don't know anymore.
