MARVEL ruined Venom. Now he just looks Spider-Man, if he were The Punisher. Way to take an original and unique character, and turn him into just another gun totting anti hero, MARVEL.

This run has been much more interesting than the old Eddie Brock days.

@TheDukeofNY... Man, Venom has never ever been better. This is better than Brock, Gargan, and pretty much every Venom that came before Thompson.

Love the new take on venom but I hate what they did to brock he shold'ev stayed as anti_venom anti_venom was a cool carector and I thoght it was a cool idea for eddie to go on with his life then spider island came along and the idear of brock giving up that power
Was still a great idear but then they give brock the toxin symbiot the savege six shold have end with brock geting seperated from toxin and have him become anti_venom also I love the new venom book's but minamum carnage is very lame them going to the micro vers is reminding me of venom thooth and claw that came out in 98 everyone wanted a venom wolverine team up but when it came out it desapointed

@ Gunsmith- After posting that picture how can you not agree with the comment that DukeofNY made originally? You may like this Venom, but that is because you like anti-heroes. We have enough of those with Punisher, Winter Soldier, and Wolverine to name a few. Tell me how the picture that you posted shouldn't remind me of Cable, Spiderman, and Winter Soldier combined?

It may be a good read, I don't doubt that. But where the original Eddie Brock Venom was a fresh and original idea, the current Venom is a take on a consistently re-hashed theme.

A troll I am not, Jack. Sorry that the world's greatest comic book character is under utilized in the DC world. I think those that read my comments know that I lean Marvel more than anything. At least that is 85% of my collection.

I have picked up a couple of issues of Flash's Venom, not interested enough to get into the series. Not that others might not enjoy it, but consider my tastes old school when it comes to Venom. We all like a little gun toting fun from time to time with our super heroes, but Venom comes across to me as a combination of many other entities in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure this is what DukeofNY is getting at.

@HalloweenJack; If you were referring to me as a DC troll, the three long boxes full of MARVEL comics I own would have to disagree with you on that point. I'm a fan of the genre, not just DC or MARVEL.
