Every summer Free Comic Book Day is a day were i put as many miles in my jalopy as I humanly can. It has become somewhat of a geek holiday for most.

As always we get previews of incoming arcs to comic books or new characters. 2014 won't be any different.

Next free comic book day we will see two new additions to Star Lord and crew.

According to Marvel.com, "The Guardians are about to welcome two new members, including Captain Marvel and one Mystery Marvel Superstar you’d never expect to see with the Guardians of the Galaxy! And this mysterious character is about to set off a chain reaction that takes our heroes to the farthest reaches of space, on a collision course with one of the deadliest threats in the cosmos!"

Bringing in the team of writer Brian Michael Bendis and the debut of artist Nick Bradshaw to these issues.

The other big news come via "a special back-up story by the best-selling team of Dan Slott and Giuseppe Camuncoli lays the foundation for 2014’s top secret Spider-Man event, an all-new story that will rock the Wall-Crawler’s world to its core!"

Free Comic Book day as always is the first weekend in May, in 2014 it will be on May 3rd.

Any comments or opinions, you know where to put them...
