I absolutely love this Scarlet Spider run! Unfortunately it's better then ASM right now... I thought Dan Slott was on a roll from Spider-Island to Ends of the Earth, but as soon as he introduced Alpha I dropped the title. Completely lost everything that was working for the book.

Ha, nice job taking a Tweet out of context kid. The first part says, The majority of... Take a look at most comic book articles on here and you'll see that a lot of people have no idea what is currently going on with Marvel and DC.

Nice try at trying to stir up trouble in your obsessional (and borderline creepy) little campaign against me though SaintSpidey67Re. Stay classy!

Hold up guys, we don't know the context of this tweet and Josh has been delivering solid news to us for a long time. I don't think we should be taking this personally. And he's probably talking about the many, MANY superhero fans that only watch the movies or the occasional cartoon. Most of my friends are like that. Lets just be thankful that this site gives us the comic previews for those of us that still collect comics.

OppaChurchnamStyle: Uh, not really - it's clearly the second part of a Tweet, and if you spend just five minutes looking through a handful of comic book articles on here, you'll see that it's a VERY fair assumption on my part. I think we even did a poll once which discovered that the majority of CBM's visitors are only familiar with the movie versions of these characters. There's nothing wrong with that, and all I was pointing out to "@Marvel_Freshman" is that articles such as this one only receive a very limited amount of interest. What's happened here is that a user with some sort of bizarre obsession with me and my articles (I don't think a day goes by on CBM's chat where the guy isn't talking about me; a complete stranger who just writes for a site he visits and has had little to no interaction with him) is trying to make a big deal out of absolutely nothing.

@MarvelWeiner Lol, thats me today. :l

Ooooh, comicbook drama. Haha. Anyways, read part one of Minimum Carnage, and its pretty cool. I like how yost starts both heros off on there own, and then just brings them and all the characters in the end in part one. So I'm looking forward to this scarlet and venom fight.

@Mrcool210 I think you meant maximum carnage dude. This series above is Minimum Carnage.

Shua
Shua - 10/6/2012, 6:10 PM
@fanboy03191 thanks man! Is it really worth it though? I was so disappointed with Alpha... just a really bad decision in my mind. I love Spidey don't get me wrong, and the Amazing Spider-Man was my second favorite movie of the year, but I hate to see subpar writing. I've loved the majority of Slott's run though, so perhaps I was too harsh.

So how about the art work in that comic huh? How a version of Vencom being an Avenger?

*Is new here, so dramatic!*

@maddrifter, no i mean minium carnage, the first issue wasnt very good

@fanboy03191 So I just purchased the last two Spidey comics and i have to eat my words. I thought Alpha was going to be Spidey's new permanent sidekick which sounded like the worst thing in the history of comics ;) what they actually did was much better. Thanks bro!
