Mystery still surrounds these teasers from Marvel, but the company clearly have something big planned. Many have pointed out that a cryptic message of some sort can be deciphered from the coloured letters in the teasers, but if like me you're far too lazy for that type of thing, the full details are expected to hit at Marvel's Fear Itself panel at Comic Con. (Sunday, July 24th at 12:30PM PST) Stay tuned for more as we have it, and be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

This looks like a great lineup so far for the Defenders. So who's solved the puzzle yet?

@ DannyRand401- I agree, I swear those two characters never get any sleep. They're the hardest working characters in comic-biz. And as someone that "works alone" you sure see Wolverine teaming up more than anyone else. I wonder what the stats are on how many covers in the last ten years Wolverine has been on and how his addition to the cover impacts that comic's sales.

check out Blog@Newsarama, they got the whole decription done over there. It's four different colours across all teasers that form some sort of riddle...

The teasers spell out so far, in the different coloured letters:

Yellow: “The Universe Will Break”
Orange: “Shut The Engines Down”
Red: “Everyone You Love Dies”
Crimson: “Fight To Save Everything”

Also, the only word common to all characters is "DEFENDER".

Sure I'm interested to see what they have planned, but this whole mystery thing is getting tiresome.
I take it this is Marvel's response to DC's 52 relaunch and if it is, it's pretty weak.
Just reveal what you have planned already.
And it better not just be another Defenders series.

I hate all this Red Hulk and Red She-Hulk nonsense. Just the stupidest thing they've done since all that early 90s crap that nearly destroyed the industry. Joe Quesada, you suck!
