i might be wrong but in one comic didn't they say that nate gray and franklin richards were the two most powerful people on the planet i think it was in a fantastic four comic

@Intruder, he has been greatly depowered. When the New Mutants found him being used as Sugarman's slave, he was completely burnt out. They've been testing him in the Danger Room and he only has a fraction of his powers. SAME powers, just less powerful.

Yeah Marvel always has a way of limiting the truly Badass. Sentry was crazy and afraid to use his power, Franklin is ALLOWED to use his power, Nate Grey is is drained, etc. But I guess there wouldn't be much challenge/story if they went all out all the time.

Don't want to spoil anything, but if you read the last issue of Uncanny X-Men, or scene some of the teasers for Fear Itself involving X-Men, it's not "Juggernaut". Close though, real close.

they've already hinted that she avoids him or is uncomfortable with him, but you're right, there's been no real interaction yet, so we'll see. What I really want to see is when Cable comes back (which is already happening for some reason), how the three of them interact.

I agree, Nate is too much for the New Mutants, but like Alcoholica said, he has been drained quite a bit. Anyway, i'm sure he'll reclaim his Messiah status at some point.

That's a possibility, but I think with the rise in popularity of Vampires in the MU, she might remain a vamp, plus I think her vamp powers are better than fireworks IMO, but I could be wrong. I think the whole Scarlet Witch giving everyone their powers back completely belittles the YEARS of storylines that led to Hope Summers. If Scarlet Witch is giving powers back and increasing the mutant pop., Hope's really not that damn special. I wonder how that's gonna play out.

Hope will become Jean Grey. I'm fairly certain of it. She's got something to do with all the Phoenix Force weilders losing their power. It left Rachel and The Blade of the Phoenix to return to...something.

She's got red hair and green eyes, and way back in Messiah Complex, she clutched the necklace of Jean and Scott that was hanging around Cyclops's neck. She will become Jean, i'm certain.
