Still love Simonson's stylized artwork but I gotta say, that looks like an Erik Larsen Hulk.

walter simonson is a legend of the industry,i loved his run on x-factor & his run on the mighty thor is considered the greatest ever!

This is the Simonson that I would have hoped had shown up for those Avengers issues he did last year. They were horrible.

yeah mate,i love that x-factor run especially the "inferno" issues.

he also drew the classic uncanny x-men/new teen titans crossover book in the 80s.

I think when Banner opens that portal, it opens up to the past. Hence why Thor is in his original costume.

When I saw the cover I thought I'd wouldn't be following this series anymore. But after seeing some of the internal pages I don't mind his style at all.

Ok, can someone answer this for me: since when is Banner's name Bruce D. Banner? Does this mean Marvel changed his name from Robert Bruce Banner to Bruce D. (and I assume the D means David) Banner? And if so, when did this happen?

Anyone remember a little thing called continuity? Didn't think so.
