Colors are top notch. Enhances Romita's art tenfold.

Well damn, this actually looks good. The coloring makes Romita's art much more tolerable. Impressed.

I have to admit, I wasnt going to pick this book up because I dont really like Romita's work outside of Kick-ass, but the colors REALLY improved it for me.

so I'll be getting this.

I like Romita's art but The Green Skull and his lackeys...O_o

SN: Missed out on Ed Brubaker's run on Cap but it's not a if or a maybe. I will subscribe to this series as well.

I can't wait to pick up Captain America #1. Rick Remender is one of my favorite comic book writers & John Romita Jr. did a good job with the art. It will take some getting use to seeing Cap with long hair, and I would prefere Wonder Man or Baron Zemo has the maain villian. Overall, it should be a good read.

does jrjr use a potato to draw with? cause this is fricking horrible. whoever did the coloring needs to be given an award for making his art look somewhat tolerable.

Those colors actually make JRJR's art tolerable, but that cover is a joke. Looks like he's been takin hints from Liefeld with those poses.

technically dc and marvel both own the green skull trademark/name or whatever so is dc getting a paycheck from this issue?

Maybe Marvel is hoping that Rememder's greatness will out weigh JRjr's crapness and still sell more books than this mediocre title was already selling...

@hope420 : Hopin' it isn't cuz of Romita's art ...
Remender's work is awesome ! Read Uncanny X-Force if you don't trust me ...

@monkeyballs3

Well that's one way of looking at it, lol.... Just don't know why JRjr gets such a royal treatment at Marvel.

But it's what I would do if I had great writers and artists, but some crappy writers and artist. I would have to balance them out or your left with a few amazing comics and some complete shít, since, ya know, having ONLY great artists and writers apparently isn't an option.

@IM53 , you're right Bro ! I Think Alonso chosen him for his awesome work on both Venom and Uncanny X-Force !
With Uncanny Avengers and a big title like Captain America , i'm sure he's gonna become a great writer ...

@OdinsBeard

This IS the most bearable I've seen from JRjr in a while. Much better than usual, but I still have a hard time with it.
