Yeah, we need to see Hugh Jackman stabbin up Chris Evans one day in the movies... I would LOVE that.

No idea why anyone likes Joe Mad, especially with all the complaints about the likes of Romita and Ramos. I find Joe Mad's art barely above a crappy kid's cartoon that caters to a kind of Attention problem crowd that prevents all engagement with the story.

Trust me as an animator and Illustrator Joe Mad is no where near amazing! He's respected in any industry for a reason lol whether you fans appreciate his art or not it doesn't make him any less of a master! It's his unparalleled understanding of anatomy and other scientific / artistic principles that gives him the right to be so stylized in the first place!

Unlike many crappy artist in the industry right now lol he's earned the right to push his style to the limit!

@Blackreverend
Im sorry but his "understanding of anatomy" HAS to be his main weakness. Joe Mad's strengths are his dynamism as well as his composition and line work. His artistic principles are beyond that are untrained at best.

The problem with Joe Mad is that he was a raw talent that got put on when he was 16. He had a style that the kids his age and the youth of that time took an affection to. His japanese influenced style was never really brought to us in that way before. Since his high mark he hasn't been consistent with his work and he designed a couple of fairly good video games but at the end of the day you can tell that he hasn't spent years training his overall artistic capabilities as well as many artists have.

While I have to say I happen to love his comic work, I also have to say that he has a lot to work on. I look forward to see how he will evolve as an artist later in his career.

Whoever at Marvel gave Ramos his job should be ashamed.... always hated that guy's artwork, he draws women like pieces of shit, can't even draw Spidey or Wolverine right.
