COMICS: Marvel NOW! UNCANNY X-FORCE #1 Cover Reveals The Bizarre New Team Line-Up

Well, this is a little odd! Olivier Coipel's Uncanny X-Force #1 cover reveals the team line-up and all-new costumes for Storm, Puck, Spiral, Psylocke and a female version of Fantomex. Series villain Bishop is also included. Check it out!

Next January, Uncanny X-Force will be relaunched from the creative team of writer Sam Humphries (The Ultimates) and artist Ron Garney (Fantastic Four). Below is the first piece of artwork from the series; Olivier Coipel's cover for issue #1. As you can see, it reveals the full team line-up, as well as Bishop (who was last seen stranded in the future after he failed to kill Cable and Hope Summers). The characters all have new looks and redesigned costumes, although the female Fantomex is perhaps the most surprising change!

Colossus is on Cable's X-Force which is a different team entirely. Wish they would have just given Cable's group a different name. Since they are outlaws or (pretend)Terrorists as the solicits go it should have been something like "Cable and the X-Tremists" or some such nonsense.

This looks good. I really like the idea of exploring Spiral as a character in a team environment. And I love that look for Storm. It'll be interesting to see how she handles a team like X-Force.

I......I don't have words to explain how that cover makes me feel. Wtf is with that line up? Puck? Really? And spiral? Female phantomex? I'm guessing that cable's x-force is the guys club while this is the girls club (if it makes sense). They will most likely butt head at some point in the future, like the ultimate avengers vs. The new ultimates.

Going from remender's uncanny x-force run to this??? holy s#&*. This lineup sucks balls. Only cool person on that team is Psylocke. There should be no Lady Fantomex...that just pisses me off. Storm on here....don't get it. As for the other two....did they just spin a freakin wheel and randomly get this crap. Jesus what a down-grade. Marvel has been doing alright with some of these teams, but this is just rediculous.

Storm's costume looks similar to Frenzy's costume post AOX.

Speaking of, does anyone know what happens to Frenzy in Marvel Now!?

Eh. Can't believe Storms rocking the Mohawk again. I guess marital problems will do that. I just had a thought though. We had a whole damn story of bishop trying to kill hope and he is a villain which I understand but Wolverine does the same thing and he is STILL everywhere.
Always liked Bishop. Hope he gets a little retention. (see what I did there)

Olivier Coipel's art cover so cool. I already love the cast, I'm well aware of all of them and where they are. Defiently checking this out after remenders run. He's leaving the story open, so I'll see what sam does with his run.
