With Marvel's Secret Wars debuting as an eight-issue event this May, next Tuesday live in New York, Axel Alonso and Tom Brevoort will give out the first details for their biggest comic event and answer many questions the fans may have. honestly...
id like it all to change.
like Really change.
not just gender/race/timeline swapping...
like... actually changing entire heroes pasts and stories and completely deleting some and adding in others.
totally changing the entire universe.
like new52, but More.
and then just completely ignore the last 50 years that way we can say
"hey. remember the original marvel? those were great.
and this new thing is interesting too.."
instead of
"remember when marvel was good? now theyre just dragging along all the characters I used to love and slowly killing and shaming them title after title."

The announcement is about Secret Wars, so really, who cares? Comics come out with BIG EVENTS every 6 months. It's like a herpes outbreak. Nothing to get excited about.

How is setting a title at #1 again while keeping all the previous storylines intact a "reboot"?

My wish:
1. Keep the 616 and ALL it's continuity.
2. Trash the UU..forget it.

If they're great I might pick some up but I don't think I can handle another Nu52 type thing. I like what they done so far with the MarvelNOW thing. New and fresh but keeping with the old.
