COMICS: Marvel Teases The Debut Of Writer Brian Wood On Wolverine!

Hinted at in a recent teaser, Marvel have now released a full teaser image of Wolverine (sporting a very different look than we're used to) with Quentin Quire looming over destructive scenes promoting Brian Wood's anticipated run...

After a cryptic teaser which revealed nothing more than the fact that Vertigo and Wildstorm writer Brian Wood would soon be moving over to Marvel for a Wolverine related project, the company have now released a full teaser. It doesn't exactly reveal anything more other than what we can expect from the story (as seen in the recent "Regenesis" teasers, Qentin Quire will be teaming with Wolverine, so whether this means they'll be pairing up in this series/arc is unclear) but is extremely intriguing nonetheless.

This looks good. They are announcing more about his return during the schism panel at NYCC.

Yeah, that art is pretty awesome. If Wolvie needs biohazard gear, some bad stuff has gone down.

Why would Wolverine need a gas/oxygen mask?

he's in everything again. I don't like when a character appears in 5 or 6 different titles simutaneously. You get burnt out on them quick. Just put him in his own book and appear in x-men every now and again.

i don't know too much about this brian wood guy but he seems to have good reputation, as far as wolverine is concerned i don't think hes gotten soft just evolved as a character although i do miss the 90's look and feel of the comics, the comics today tried to be "smart" and "sofisicated" while taking out the fantasy that made it so awesome. getting back to the subject... wolverine is not soft hes just on too many teams.

he was my favorite character during the claremont x-men years, but he is over used these days.

I can't understand why a guy with adamantium claws & accelerated healing needs ALL that gear on him...Looks pretty pathetic.
