Her powers are cool but her character herself doesn't have much too her.

Dazzler has a great deal of character. She was a singer who was able to make her music manifest into color and energy, she had all sorts of adventures with Longshot and the X-Men and all through that, she's had some pretty deep thoughts if you them. I think she has quite a character.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of hers, but since I've read the X-Men for almost 30 years, I know most of the characters and what they've gone though.

So instead of just walking out of the house and calling Fabio on his cell phone later, she wrecked his families house.

What a bitch.

I am not really enjoying the role shield is playing here. Seems like the Medina's don't really have any rights. Not even the right to ask here to leave their home.

Lol seems pretty entertaining. I like where they're going with the character. I'll pick it up and give it a shot.

@LordHuck

It's a comic book bro, relax.

And this is more or less how the police work if the situation calls for it. If the cops show up looking to speak with someone and you tell them do leave they're not
going anywhere until they talk to whoever they're looking for.

She showed up to talk to the kid, the dad flipped out and pulled a gun and she had to intervene. It's fairly humorous as well with the fan girl and the Dazzler album lol.

I've always loved Dazzler.. But I dislike her generic look.. The art looks like colorforms.Very bland...

Love DAZZLER! I like Jim Lee's DAZZLER design more, but can't go wrong with her old school Disco outfit either. Alison Blaire is her real name, right? Can't believe I remember that. lol :D

@lsc2222: I don't know what country you live in, but that's a situation where the police here generally approach a judge with whatever suspicions they have that the person is actually there and come back with a warrant (and typically do this before alerting you to the fact they want to speak to that person). They can not legally barge into your house without a warrant and make demands (but they can enter if allowed to).

Setting that aside... SHEILD using a mutant in such a visual capacity to trample on the rights of an ordinary citizen kind of validates Cyclops' point when it comes to rights, doesn't it?

Haven't gotten a chance to read up on her comics yet but The Dazzler's always intrigued me. I like her concept and even the disco background.

Just wish she wasn't working for SHEILD but glad she's joining this book.

Dropping this line. The art is junk, the story is ok but keeps dragging on and the art just keeps dragging it down.

Ugh Dazzler. Of all the mutants she's probably the lamest. Hell I'll take Boom Boom and Cypher over her any day.

I mean it was like the publisher said, "We need a popular character. What's popular?"
"Disco. Blonds. Laser Floyd."
Okay make a blond disco singer with light powers. Ka-ching. Nope. Nobody cares. I was so pissed when they put her in that X Men arcade game.

Great, great series! Love it soooooo much!!!

Btw comrades of CBM.com go see 'The Wolverine'!! Definitely one of my top 3 CBMs! Hugh Jackman is at his best both acting wise and....DUDE IS RIPPED...so veiny...lol anywho I highly recommend seeing it! I'm still amazed at how awesome it was...I had such low expectations going into it (but I love Hugh haha) and now I have faith that FOX can handle their X-Men universe.......

Never thought I'd ever say that ever about FOX....hahahaha
