This is before he gets the red/black outfit. In issue 3 at the end, he just heard Spidey/Peter just got shot.

the series is great so far. The only problem I have is issue #4 is the first time he'll be putting on the costume. Which really isn't much of a complaint, since the first three issues have really great character development, so you come to care for Miles and his supporting cast really quickly. I'd suggest for everyone to pick this up.

blah blah blah blah blah this Spiderman rocks. Any one of us could tell Peters entire life over and over and over again. It's nice reading a comic book and not knowing where it's eventually goin to end up. We grow and learn with the new Spiderman instead of watching the countless cartoons and movie where we already know where Peter is heading and what villain is about to pop up. Change is good but only for those willing to accept it and give it a chance but sayin he "will finally kick the bucket it'll be as painful as possible, he only deserve the worst Death to Morales" shows that you obviously didn't give him a chance.

To be honest I don't care about his race/ethnicity personally I was a Peter Parker fan, and I'm not really digging the new guy. He's just not doing it for me, but hey that's me anyway the only real problem I see is his age I think he's just a little too young to be Spider-man. 15 or 16 would have been cool but I am having trouble with the whole 13 thing. But in the end that's just one guys opinion.

I knew she would pop up eventually. Should be a good issue.
Darn postal service is so slow delivering my subscription that I haven't received issue #2 yet. #1 was good though.

If you don't like the book don't read it, simple as that. I love this NEW story, the repetitiveness of Peter Parker's story was really starting to annoy me, I'm glad they chose this route. Bendis is a genius and I hope he continues the great story he's started. I enjoy this and if you don't, well you can go touch yourself to Amazing Spider-Man or something.

I read the first three issues and I just couldn't get into it. I tried to give it a chance, but I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. That said, I hope the book does really well. Maybe I'll give it another try a bit further down the road.

I never keep up with the What If universe that is Ultimate but Spiderwoman is a clone of Peter? Were these noob cloners or did they do a mixup with th chromosones. Also the Spiderwoman costume looks wierd with the "full mask" and hair. Must take a long time threading all her hair through holes in the mask.

@ScarletVendetta I feel your pain, I think marketing companies took over and call something new and improved by by changing one thing. I mean really if Tide was improved everytime the box said it was the detergent would have nantites in them and self fold your coothes after washing. So its like a new variety of coke but instead of it being cherry or vanillia or a diet drink (coke zero) that doesnt have the word diet in it its instead. New and improved Spiderman now with mixed minority. Are they not able to create new characters or do thry have to keep recycling and stealling from older characters.

While I get a kick out of her entrance, I do have concerns about where this story is going to go. What more are they going to screw with?

Personally, I don't read Spider-Man just for Spider-Man. Peter Parker was half the equation! I loved seeing how his personal life intertwined with his life as a super hero. It's what grabbed my attention. Its what I always loved about Spider-Man. Peter Parker meant just as much to me as the icon of Spider-Man. By killing Parker, you eliminate half of what I loved! Anyone can dress as Spider-Man, but no one will ever be Spider-Man to me except Peter Parker.
