X-Force/Uncanny X-Force is , has been , and I think will continue to be one of the greatest books being published right now. From issue # 1 this title has not disappointed in even one issue. Wolverine's for real! All the characters are great. The interaction between them is entertaining, the writing and dialog is always cutting edge and the art-Marvel always get a great artist for this book- is wonderful. Arch-Angel going off is the storyline being developed right now, so this is no surprise, but it's gonna be a great ride reading it! And I hope Nightcrawler decides to join X-Force back to their dimension so the 'elf' will be back in the X-Men's world.

@osagemode-Yes.Bastion put his hand through his chest. Nightcrawler sacrificed his life to save Hope, Cable's little red-headed charge.Very sad.But his doppelganger is in the AOA, were X-Force is now trying to find a life seed to save Warren from becoming the new Apocalypse. If your not getting this book: Get it!!! It's great!

This was the problem with his story in deadpool 900, near impossible to understand remender's dialogue sometimes

@ dmm5

short story: Apocalypse kidnapped Angel, ripped his feather wings out and replaced them with the metal wings. He also brainwashed him, so he's constantly fighting an evil side. He did it to make him the Horseman Death.
comicb00kguy
comicb00kguy - 8/29/2011, 6:30 AM
Corndog: I thought I remembered it a little differently- Angel's wings had gotten shattered during the Mutant Massacre and would require amputation. Warren attempted suicide and was believed to be dead. Apocalypse had come to him and offered to restore his wings- for a price. Somehow the brainwashing and conversion into a Horsemen wasn't mentioned. Ah, this is why should always read the fine print! I could swear I remember it more that Angel voluntarily went with Apocalypse, agreeing to serve him in return for new wings. Am I wrong about this?

This looks like a really interesting storyline. Hope they do a TPB since I don't have the cash on hand to afford the books.
