Love Laura, glad she is getting more attention. I would like if Daken comes back and becomes her Sabretooth equivalent

Comic fans always freaking out over change. You know Logan is going to be back as Wolverine eventually, so why the uproar?

Ah! I like that there are claws coming out of her feet too!
Classic Wolverine used to be my fav hero when I was a teenager. But he was overexposed and the mystery around him vanished, so I lost interest. A bit of change is welcome, but I do hope at some point the original comes back. Maybe without adamantium, and more animalistic. Some episodes in the early 90s showed him roaming the North of Canada with some kind of bigfoot people. There, he discovered that without adamantium, he could have access to a mystical plane of existence called Alshra, if I remember well. This is the kind of stuff I would like to see if/when he comes back.

While I'd like it better if she was her own character, I'm more fine with this mainly because it makes sense for X-23 to take over Wolverine's legacy.

Always liked X-23. Unlike Lady Thor, this one makes sense. It's not like Mariko just got metal claws and a yellow clown suit and magically became Wolverine. Eventually, this will be a footnote on Wolvie's wiki anyways so I ain't sweatin.

This is angel from the original xmen. He jumped into the black vortex and this is how he got his new wings. Google the black vortex story line and read about it.

Shitty character with a stupid coattail ridding origin, blatantly pandering and squeezing the last few dollars out of an overexposed, character just so marvel could avovid copyright bullshit with FOX

I like Laura and love that she's taking up some of the traditional Wolverine overexposure, but that costume only barely works on a stout Canadian bruiser. I would have liked to see a totally new approach to the costume, rather than just a gender-flipped "Batgirl" version.

Im not so into the whole Gender Swap for Famous Male Heroes but this pic is awesome... They should of just named here Baby Wolverine Cub.

I don't car about her taking the mantle of Wolverine, since Old Logan and X-Men 92 will continue. They should have gave her a completely different suit, she look goofy.

Why can't the heroes just stay in there own lane there is will ever be one wolverine. Not upset with her for a solo but she is x 23 or you could give her a new name.

FlixMentallo21 - 10/15/2015, 8:01 AM
Oddly enough, this is how I'd picture X-23 in the MC2 timeline, as an adult and taking over for Logan. (And married to her frequent steady from the early 2000's, Hellion.)

We don't gain a new Wolverine, we lost X23.
actionmoviefanatix
actionmoviefanatix - 10/15/2015, 8:22 AM
I understand that people love their favorite comic book heroes but doesn't it make sense that as time goes by, people age, people die, things change, etc... People not aging in Marvel comics is the reason that we still have a Punisher that fought in Vietnam almost 50 years ago. It's also the reason that comic creators rarely create new characters that last.

Wolverine is one of the rare characters that actually makes sense to be able to live forever (almost).

All of that said, Marvel does feel like they are in "change everything mode" right now. All of these changes would be fine if they happened organically and were spread out instead of all being thrown at us at once.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of the diversity pandering...Marvel and DC..you cannot improve a character by changing its sex or race...gimme a break...anyone who doubts this should just take a look at the circulation numbers for the pathetic Ms Marvel, new Thor, or black Captain America...seriously....
