Destroyer 14's Review of "One Moment In Time" Part Two

I review part two of the Spider-Man event: "One Moment In Time." There will be some spoilers...

One Moment In Time. An event that is supposed to explain Brand New Day and what transpired in One More Day. If you read my review of part one, you would know it felt pretty weak. Does part two do a better job? Read on.

Part two is a lot better, the flashback anyway. Besides the flashback, I can't stand the art. Mary Jane looks so weird, and Peter looks.....something. It's a good thing that the flashback takes up most of the issue.

I never liked Brand New Day. It is interesting how one thing can change everything. In the flashback, we get some nice glimpses from past events such as Civil War and One More Day. It's cool to see Spidey in the Black Suit again. One thing that bothers me is whether they will explain Spider-Man #300. Did Venom still go after Mary Jane?

The ending is quite interesting. I won't spoil it, but I wonder how the next issue will go.

In closing, part two of One Moment In Time is a lot better than part one, just not as great as the past arcs.

I give this issue a 3/5. Part three of One Moment In Time will come out in two weeks.

Wait wait wait....... Spidey got the black suit again, if not the symbiote, the one he made? I thought MJ told him to get rid of it though, haven't read this yet so correct me if i'm wrong.

@gambitfreak It was the one he made. MJ told him to get rid of it way after they got married. (Of course that doesn't matter anymore.)

so if they never got married, that means she never got pregnant right? does that mean the clone saga never happend? cuz im pretty sure mj being pregnant was a big part of that... (the whole reason peter decided to let ben take over as spiderman was so he could focus on his family). and whatever happend to that baby in the original version of the clone saga? "revelations" i believe it was called- where norman comes back and kills ben and replaces the parker baby with a stillborn.... or are we supposed to go off that disaster "rewrite" of the clone saga where harry is the evil mastermind, not norman, and ben survives (cuz that ended with pete and mj holding a baby and ben riding off in the sunset...)

i just REALLY confused myself! if ANYBODY can help clear this up id be thankful- even my archenemy dellamorte!
