Marvel Creator Stan Lee's Blood Has Reportedly Been Stolen In Order To Sign Comic Books

The sad saga of Stan Lee continues as it's now been revealed that one of the comic book creator's former business associates has stolen his blood in order to use it on signed materials featuring "DNA ink."

We've been hearing a lot about the problems surrounding Stan Lee's final days as the iconic comic book creator seemingly finds himself surrounded by con artists and questionable associates taking advantage of him. Now, things have got even weirder as it's being reported that his blood was stolen in order to sell Black Panther comic books at Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. at Treasure Island Las Vegas.

Apparently, they're bearing certificates claiming that they feature a "Hand-Stamped Signature of STAN LEE using Stan Lee’s Solvent DNA Ink." That DNA (blood, in this instance) was stolen by a former business associate who is alleged to have presented a nurse with a forged document in October that gave him the authority to order a blood sample. They then drew several vials from Lee which left him feeling dizzy and unwell and this same associate is accused of stealing over $1.2 million from him.

To call this whole situation is disgusting is an understatement and it's sad to think that Lee is being treated this way during the most vulnerable years of his life. With any luck, the situation can be resolved but it really doesn't sound like he has the best people surrounding him as of right now.

We'll keep you all updated about this but here's hoping we get some good news about Lee soon.

This is one of the most repulsive examples of exploitation of an elderly person I've ever heard of. The "associate" who did this should be prosecuted.

@xHollywoodx - Not everyone. Realistically, one person has an eye left, and in the world of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

This is a henious and horrible crime and I hope it stops soon.
