SPOILERS: Here's What Peter Parker Found When He Googled "Miles Morales" In SPIDER-MEN

"Oh my God." That's what Peter Parker said when he Googled the youngster after his trip to the Ultimate Universe to meet Miles Morales for the first time. What did he find? The answer will surprise you!

In the final issue of Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales said their goodbyes and returned to their respective universes. Once he got home, Peter decided to Google Miles to see if there was a version of the youngster in his world and we've been waiting years to find out what those search results came up with. So, what made him say "Oh my God"? The answer has now been revealed.

Unfortunately, it's a tad underwhelming. In this week's Spider-Men II #2, a throwaway moment saw Peter tell Miles (who now live in the same universe) that Google came up with...absolutely nothing.

That's right, it appears as if Miles Morales is the only person with that name. Well, aside from the scarred, older version who has now returned to New York and is a criminal! How he removed his name from the internet is hard to say and it seems like writer Brian Michael Bendis probably never thought this through and assumed it would be a good cliffhanger. After all, no one knew at the time that the plan was for the regular and Ultimate Marvel Universe to ultimately be combined the way they have!

What do you guys think of this big reveal? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

"Unfortunately, it's a tad underwhelming"

If by underwhelming, you mean absurdly lame and lazy writing, then yes, it's underwhelming. I remember the days where Bendis was a good writer (Powers, Jinx, Alias, Daredevil, even Avengers), but now that he's writing half of Marvel's comics by himself, all he does is garbage.

@Asturgis - I loved Luke Cage and Spiderman's dialogue in New Avengers. Bendis did a great job. I am certainly not adequately whelmed by this teaser.

@Doomsday8888 - So did I, but you can't possibly ask a writer to rite 100 pages a month for 10 years and expect him to still do a good job. I really don't understand why Marvel has him on every single event, plus other titles as well. I think in 2015 he was working on 2 major events plus 7 titles at once. Completely absurd.

Guy won 15 awards and had another 5 nominations between 2000 and 2005, and he hasn't received one since then. There is no way he can keep up.

@Asturgis -
Yeah i agree, he should take a break, i don't think Marvel is forcing him do to anything tbh, this is probably all on him, but yeah, he doesn't have "big ideas" like he used to...

Ok, maybe they forced somebody to write CW II, because of the movie.
No wonder it turned out to be shit.

Not sure why I read this, I'm years behind on spider-man and haven't even met miles morales..

But that's some of the shittiest writing I've ever seen.

Current marvel sounds terrible. I'm pretty sure vision is the only thing I've heard people praise out of everything. Well that, and whatever the "God butcher" is. Sounds dope.

I sort of don't want to catch up.

I think Peter is lying.

He's trying to keep Miles safe and unaware of his 616 counterpart.

@SKetCH - Naw... shortly after this exchange, they end up going to Jessica Jones to investigate the possible existence of another Miles Morales, and she comes up with basically the same thing: nada. Zilch. Nothing.

I think Bendis is trying to suggest that the 616 Morales is some kind of Keyser Soze-esq uber-mastermind who's so good he's managed to stay off EVERYONE'S radars up until now. Which is, yeah, still kinda lame.

Peter isn't lying here. Miles' online identity has been scrubbed. So underwhelming. Still hoping that evil Miles got those scars from wearing Mysterio's costume during Superior Spiderman. Otherwise all of this is coming out of nowhere and shows poor planning.

Yeah, I definitely go "all my God" with my most shocked face every time I don't find any results for something I google. Definitely.

I love their relationship. It's more like brothers or Cousins than mentor and apprentice. Peter fully see himself in Miles, and knows Miles can do whatever he sets his mind to!

Yea, the true reveal is that the Miles of 616 is some evil master mind who has indeed scrubbed himself from the internet. The question is did Peter see it before it was scrubbed; if so would make the "oh my god" make sense.
