To mark the 10 year anniversary of September 11th, 2001, nearly 100 Sunday comic strips came out in full force to pay their own unique tributes to the tragic and heartbreaking events of that day. For now, I thought it would be most fitting to share this one with you by Stan Lee, featuring Spider-Man passing Ground Zero and realizing just how little his problems matter compared to what happened on this day a decade ago.

RIP 9/11 victims, but it also important to remember the innocent lives that were lost due to these attacks, namely countless American soldiers, one hundred thousand Iraqis(most of which were civilians), and i'm sure many more afghanis, all of them deserve our respect and thoughts

Exactly what spidermoe7 said, the events that have come after 911 have been far far worse. It is typical of the United States though, make an already shitty thing into an insanely absurd disaster.

But whoever wrote that fluff piece (in the video), where supervillains like Dr. Doom (who's crying! lol) come to Ground Zero to pay their respects, is out of his mind.

"The worst of us" still feel? Are human? Are affected by the death of innocents? We're talking about Dr. Doom here. And what about the guys who flew the planes into the towers? I think their whole goal was the mass killing of innocents. And Dr. Doom makes them look like pussies.

I'm ok with spider-man's believable plug, but lets respect character boundaries, please.

I was in my fourth grade classroom when it happened. I had never heard of the twin towers or the pentagon, until then. I didn't understand what was going on. All I knew was that some airplanes crashed into some buildings.

I was 8 when it happened. I remember my parents refusing to go to work and just stayed home to watch the news. I remember my 4th grade teacher crying.

Those flag burners in london were probably the same bleepwipes that protested the cop shooting someone by riioting and stealing blue ray players.

@Deadshot 911 was much more than a "shitty thing" your perspective is clearly effed up. A minor or even major traffic accident is a "shitty thing" Thousands of people dyingwas alreadly a insanely obsurd disaster AND act of war no different than Pearl Harbor. A response was required. 911 was not just a terror attack it WAS an act of war. War pretty much sucks (to understatr things) all around but is sometimes unavoidable especially when not just American citizens were murdered in a cowardly fashion but citizens from all over the world including people of the muslim faith. Sorry but that kind of act of war and unspeakable crime against humanity is something that you HAVE to stand up against. Sitting back saying that was shitty then proceed to going back to smoking your bong is not an acceptable response.
