COMICS: Has Marvel Revealed The Identity Of THE SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN On New Variant?

While it's more than likely just ANOTHER red herring, two Dynamic Forces variant covers for Dan Slott and Ryan Stegman's The Superior Spider-Man #1 may just (again) reveal the identity of the character who will be behind the iconic mask next year.

Not too long ago, a Tweet from Dan Slott - which was supposed to be a "Direct Message" to artist Ryan Stegman - seemingly revealed that Miguel O'Hara (Spider-Man 2099) would be The Superior Spider-Man in the Marvel NOW! series. Since then, it has been theorised that the accidental Tweet was in fact just a red herring from the writer in an attempt to throw fans off the scent. If the events of Amazing Spider-Man #698 were anything to go by, it worked! However, a couple of Dynamic Forces variant covers for the first issues of the news series features Miguel in a couple of images which definitely seem to hint at him being the new Spidey. So, is this a big reveal or are Marvel and artist Ken Haeser just having fun with us? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
