Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who produced the supernatural thriller Constantine, recently spoke to SCI FI Wire on the possibility of a sequel to the film adaption of the Hellblazer comic books.

"I love that character," di Bonaventura said during an interview while promoting his latest film, Doom. "I'd love to do another. [I'd love to] call Warner Brothers and push on it."

When told that Reeves told SCI FI Wire he probably wouldn't agree to a sequel, di Bonaventura looked over at his Doom co-producer, John Wells. "We hadn't heard that," di Bonaventura said.

"We'd love to see a new Constantine," he said. "We had a good time making that movie. I'd love to do it again. It's just not in the works right now. ... He's such a great character I'd love to do it again."
